It is fitting that the f&b home of Wales has become the worlds first Fair Trade nation last month. The label, assigned in June 2008 was the made by a independant panel of Fair Trade experts, based upon a number of appointed targets.

Wales has:

• *58 Fair Trade towns;
• *All 22 local authorities are Fair Trade; and
• *In less than a year 380 schools have committed to learning about Fair Trade and using Fair Trade products
